My personal opinion

I would give this movie a 9/10 - Marvel really outdid themselves with this one. I watched the movie today and....I'M SHOOK.

The film is very emotionally heavy but knows when to lighten the mood. Winston Duke and Danai Gurira are hilarious in the film and everyone delivered very powerful performances.

I know I say this with probably EVERY marvel movie but (in my opinion) this film is possibly the greatest marvel movie I've ever watched because of the very deeply moving tribute to Chadwick Boseman who unfortunely passed away summer of 2020 due to colon cancer.

I will never be the same again. I swear to god, everytime I watch a marvel movie I walk out of the theatre with more mental health issues than before. 😭

My favourite quotes from this movie are...

(Not in order)

  • "I Am Queen Of The Most Powerful Nation In The World! And My Entire Family Is Gone! Have I Not Given Everything?" - Queen Ramonda
  • "The World Has Taken Too Much From You For You To Still Be Considered A Child." -M'Baku
  •  "I Just Buried The Last Person Who Truly Knew Me. My Heart Is Buried With Her." - Shuri
  • "Vengeance Has Consumed Us. We Cannot Let It Consume Our People." - Shuri
  • "Only The Most Broken People Can Be Great Leaders" - Namor
