My personal opinion

I would give this movie a 7/10 - not a massive fan of musicals but this movie is an exception.

The story, the songs, the characters were all so moving and so realsitic of what people go through. Ben Platt also did an excellent job on portraying Evan Hansen (a socially awkward teen).

My favourite song from this movie is "You will be found" because of its beautiful message reminding not us that none of us are alone.

My favourite quotes from this film are...

(Not in order)

  1. I wish everything was different. I wish I was different. -Evan
  2. "I'd rather pretend I'm something better than these broken parts, pretend I'm something other than this mess that I am." - Evan Hansen
  3. I am left with a loneliness so overpowering it threatens to seep from my eyes. I have no one. –Evan Hansen
  4. Now we can both pretend we have friends. - Connor
  5. You’ve given me my brother back. -Zoe
